Spencer Davis Group - I'm a man (with Lyrics)Well my pad is very messy And there's whiskers on my chin And I'm all hung up on music And I always play to win I ain't got no time for lovin' Cause my time is all used up Just to sit around creatin' All that groovy kind of stuff. I'm a man Yes I am And I can't help But love you so I'm a man Yes I am And I can't help But love you so. Well if I had my choice of matter I would rather be with cats All engrossed in mental chatter Moving where our minds are at And relating to each other Just how strong our wills can be I'm resisting all involvement With each groovy chick we see Well I'm a man Yes I am And I can't help But love you so I'm a man Yes I am And I can't help But love you so. I got to keep my image While suspended from a throne That looks out upon a kingdom Full of people all unknown Who imagine I'm not human And my heart is made of stone I never had no problems And my toilet's trimmed with chrome I'm a man Yes I am And I can't help But love you so. I'm a man Yes I am And I can't help But love you so. "I'm a Man" is a song written by Spencer Davis Group singer-songwriter Steve Winwood and record producer Jimmy Miller. The original recording was a fast, Hammond organ-driven blues rock track released as a single by the Spencer Davis Group in early 1967, reaching no. 9 in the UK singles charts and no.10 in the US. It was the last hit single by the band before the brothers Steve and Muff Winwood left to pursue their own separate careers. The song is sometimes confused ...

Spencer Davis Group - Gimme Some Lovin Lyrics"Gimme Some Loving" is a song written by Steve Winwood, Spencer Davis and Muff Winwood, and originally performed by the Spencer Davis Group. The basic riff of the song was borrowed from the Homer Banks song "(Ain't That) A Lot of Love", written by Banks and William Dean Parker. The song was originally a hit in 1967 (#7 in the USA and #2 in the UK.) when Steve Winwood, lead singer of the Spencer Davis Group at the time, was only 18 years old. The song is ranked #244 on the Rolling Stone magazine's list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. The version issued in the UK (and probably most of Europe) is a completely different version than the one issued in the US on United Artists. The UK version was slower, clearer and did not have any of the in the studio live antics that was featured on the US single. This song has been cover 14 times, most notable covers are (The Blues Brothers, Olivia-Newton John, Toto, Queen, Chicago, The Supremes, The Four Tops, The Grateful Dead, Great White and Hanson) It has been used in 16 movies including (Days of Thunder, Iron Eagle, Sleepers, Wild Hogs, The Blues Brothers and Good Morning Vietnam) It has also been used in at least 7 TV shows and 4 TV commercials.
