Kid Rock - Amen VideoThank you all for the support and compliments on this video. Warner Music Group decided they wanted to pull my video for copyright infringement when Robert Richie (Kid Rock) and his video producers (refusedtv) had both commended me and even asked for advice on their "official" video. They are trying to claim their rights were infringed upon under DRM. However, this has done NOTHING to harm them and perhaps has actually pushed their song to more listeners. Thank you youtube for listening to my rebuttal and reposting my video. Lastly, God bless you Mr Brossard. You were my inspiration for this video. Also, thank you to all of the staff at the Elliot in the Morning Show and ABC for broadcasting Kid's kind words regarding my video. Robert Hamilton

Video explains the world's most important 6-sec drum loopThis fascinating, brilliant 20-minute video narrates the history of the "Amen Break," a six-second drum sample from the b-side of a chart-topping single from 1969. This sample was used extensively in early hiphop and sample-based music, and became the basis for drum-and-bass and jungle music -- a six-second clip that spawned several entire subcultures. Nate Harrison's 2004 video is a meditation on the ownership of culture, the nature of art and creativity, and the history of a remarkable music clip.

Lilies of the Field - AmenThis is the final scene in the film directed by Ralph Nelson. It's the scene where Homer Smith, played by Sidney Poitier leaves Mother Maria, played by Lilia Skala after building them a chapel. After taking one last look at the chapel he built, Smith, knowing that his work is done, slips into his car and drives quietly off into the night. www.imdb.com

Amen by Jolie Holland (fan video)'Amen' by Jolie Holland from her album Escondida. The video is a fireworks display I saw from my window. I recorded it in focus and out, but this version is just prettier. Since I've been asked a few times, I haven't nudged the explosions around at all in editing. In fact the only synching I did was to make sure that the last explosions blinked out just as the piano's sustain pedal was let up at the end of the song. It was just a happy accident that it worked so well with the first 30 seconds or so. The rest of it is a little hit or miss, though I gotta say it hits surprisingly often. But if it was too synched up I feel like it would kind of be boring, so I'm thankful for the misses.

Amen Corner - If Paradies is half as nice 1969Amen Corner - If Paradies is half as nice 1969 If paradise is half as nice as heaven that you take me to Who needs paradise I'd rather have you. They say paradise is up in the stars But I needn't sigh because it's so far 'Cos I know it's worth a heaven on earth For me where you are. A look from your eyes, a touch of your hand And I seem to fly to some other land When you are around my heart always pounds Just like a brass band. If paradise is half as nice as heaven that you take me to Who needs paradise I'd rather have you Oh yes I'd rather have you. La la la la la ..... If paradise is half as nice as heaven that you take me to Who needs paradise I'd rather have you Oh yes I'd rather have you. La la la la la ..... They say paradise is up in the stars (If paradise is half as nice) But I needn't sigh because it's so far (as heaven that you take me to)
